Gym Doctors was founded in 1991 by Daniel Daneshvar, a former auto mechanic and SFSU business management graduate who recognized the lack of quality service options for commercial fitness equipment in the Bay Area.

Initially the company focused on servicing local gyms, and over time expanded into the light commercial and residential markets. By following this golden rule: “Treat others as you want to be treated”, Gym Doctors has grown to become the Bay Area’s largest independent service provider and authorized service center for over 40 top name manufacturers.
