The press is specially designed for terminating ends on wire rope cables primarily used on weight machines. Mr. Neilson, VP of operations states "weight equipment manufacturers are getting more complex with their cables. The cable ends used today are not the loop style we used to see 10 years ago. The ends have evolved like the weight machines. Although the newer style cable ends help in extending the life of the cable by allowing the ends to spin without twisting and ruining the cable, on the downside they keep the customer hostage once they break." Since no one can duplicate these ends locally, the customer has no choice but to buy the cable at an inflated price from the manufacturer which in most cases has to make the cable per order. This increases the wait time and the downtime of the machine which equals to angry customers at the gym. This press will allow us to duplicate any style of cable termination and have our customers up and running within less than 24 hours without the usual one to two week wait time.
